In honor of Pride Month, renowned sneaker brand Saucony recently made the announcement that they will be donating a portion of the proceeds from their Jazz Court Pride sneakers to the AYA Youth Collective, a Michigan-based organization that creates safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth facing housing instability.

AYA stands for “As You Are,” with the company’s ethos being rooted in the belief of working together to pave the way for a future where everyone has a place to belong.

One of the brand’s best-sellers, the Jazz Court Pride comes with all of the standard features that accompany the original Jazz Court model, but with the added element of the Pride Rainbow flag as a side overlay on the shoe. Specifically made for hardwood and concrete, the Jazz Court sneakers consist of a premium full-grain leather construction in the upper, alongside a grippy rubber outsole that assists with durability and traction.

Per the brand, the iconic silhouette of the Jazz Original upper blends together with a classic cupsole bottom design, which in turn creates the stylish mold of the shoe. As for the comfort component, the Jazz Court Pride comes built with a lightweight padded EVA midsole that provides comfort and a quick return with each step.

Additionally, there’s also perforated underlays incorporated into the shoes to assist with breathability. Along the lines of breathability, the sneakers feature anti-microbial lining to minimize risk of sweat and odor over time. The Jazz Court Pride, specifically, is layered in a smooth white colorway and an off-white outsole for contrasting. What’s more, the midsole of the shoe is also designed with colors from the Pride Rainbow Flag as well.
