Hoka and WTAPS are teaming up for a capsule featuring four total footwear options taking on the Japanese label’s signature military look.
The WTAPS x Hoka Anacapa Low Gore-Tex and Ora Luxe sandal both come with two colorways for the inaugural collaboration from the two brands. Available in either fatigue green or black, the two models pack a host of smaller details giving the appearance of something you might pick up in a military surplus store.

“We are beyond thrilled to collaborate with WTAPS, as they’re among the first to pioneer the Japanese streetwear scene,” Travis Wiseman, director of Lifestyle Product for Hoka, said in a press release. “Together, we’ve crafted a collection of footwear that not only embodies superior performance but also reflects the bold attitude and authenticity synonymous with both brands — the perfect fusion of comfort, function and street-ready flair.”
Hoka’s waterproof Anacapa Low hiking sneaker features a mixed-material upper that includes a ripstop toe tip and silver trim to coordinate with the grey midsole on both colorways. Both variants also feature a safety orange pull tab, as well as WTAPS branding above the toe, debossed “Urban Territory 813” text on the heel and GPS coordinates pointing to Tokyo’s Shibuya neighborhood on the lateral midfoot.
The Ora Luxe, which features a robust velcro strap system and a shapely sole unit, then adds crossbones to its strap, WTAPS branding on the heel and the same GPS coordinates on the outsole’s profile for what are otherwise monochromatic treatments in black and olive green.
The WTAPS x Hoka Anacapa Low Gore-Tex and Ora Luxe will both release Friday, May 24, through Hoka’s website. Pricing for the sneakers is set at $190, while the sandals will cost $90.
