Acne Studios is revamping the biker boot for fall 2023.
This season, the Stockholm-based brand has released its newest lineup of shoes — including a square-toed set of women’s biker boots. However, this iteration isn’t your classic style; instead, the $1,150 pair of knee-high women’s shoes is crafted from smooth blue denim, accented with tonal yellow stitching.
In keeping with the style’s traditionally utilitarian edge, the boots do include signature biker details — namely horizontal front straps and two back heel straps, all connected in a triad to metal stirrup rings on the sides of each shoe. The pair is complete with small matching metal studs for a grungy punk flair, as well as black soles with 1.37-inch heels for a subtle height boost.
The eclectic style is another iteration of Acne Studios‘ penchant for using untraditional materials on staple styles. Elsewhere in the brand’s fall 2023 collection, low-heeled leather ankle boots are topped with large monochrome knots, while pointed-toe boots are cast in metallic silver, brown pony hair and white crocodile-embossed leather. For those wanting a more traditional version of the aforementioned biker boots, however, fear not; the style does come in an embossed black leather iteration, too.
