Birkenstock introduced two new members to its footwear family.

Adding to its ever-growing line of Milano sandals, the footwear company released versatile “Roast” and “Black” colorways featuring super-premium aniline leather and upgraded complimentary double-pinned brass buckles.

Both colorways retail for $220 and come stocked in a wide range of men’s sizes. Upgrading Birkenstock’s iconic two-strap silhouette, every Milano style features an adjustable back strap, offering the wearer a tailored and secured fit.

Aniline leather is dyed using soluble dyes that deeply penetrate the leather to showcase the naturally marred texture of the hide, imparting a rustic and well-worn look. The soles of the Milano include Rubber Grip outsole technology for added traction and durability. Birkenstock’s unique cork footbed is anatomically correct and ensures a natural position of the sole, creating a natural rolling movement.

Beyond their new “Black” and “Roast” colorways, the Milano sandal comes in a myriad of funky colors and upper materials, meaning there’s a style for just about everyone.

Founded in 1774, Birkenstock’s roots trace back to vassal and shoemaker Johann Adam Birkenstock. The cobbler worked out of the small Hessian village of Langen-Bergheim in local church archives. His commitment to his craft was imbued into the brand’s DNA and stays present in all of their footwear creations.

Birkenstock’s new Milano sandals in new “Black” and “Roast” colorways are available for purchase now on their website.
