Clarks Originals is teaming up with Vandy The Pink to bring footwear fans a burger-inspired Wallabee sure to please all tastebuds.
In a cheeky teaser video dropped on Clarks Originals’ Instagram on Wednesday, the brand gave fans a sneak peek of the collaborative footwear while walking through a how-to on making a burger.
The footwear brand is upgrading its iconic Wallabee boot in a major way by tapping into Vandy The Pink creative and Virginia-based artist Junghoon Son’s usage of burger iconography and unique design perspective. The tasty collaborative effort sees the Wallabee transformed into a burger, complete with all the fixins’.
Crafted of textural tan suede uppers, the footwear includes sesame seed embroidery on the toe boxes which transition into co-branded fobs and french fry-printed insoles. The boot’s laces are fixed with crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, cheese and a fresh off-the-grill burger patty, offering the footwear a playful touch set atop crepe sole units.

Vandy The Pink’s usage of the burger motif runs deep. Based on their Vandy Burger character created in 2019, the brand recently dropped burger-shaped ottomans, string bags, varsity jackets and plushies. Taking the internet by storm through viral marketing techniques and unique designs, Vandy The Pink has since extended its reach to include a myriad of collaborations from Casetify and Something In The Water to McDonald’s. What’s more? They also make homeware and have dressed major celebrities like Lisa from Blackpink.
Clarks was founded in 1852 in Somerset, England, by brothers James and Cyrus Clark. Today, the footwear brand operates in retail, wholesale, franchises and online channels in over 100 markets.
Clarks x Vandy The Pink Wallabee boot is available on Friday online via Clarks UK, US, EU, Japan and China, and in our London, Manchester, Osaka, Tokyo and Beijing stores. This collaboration will also be available at onvandylab.org and at selected retailers.
