Crocs Celebrates ‘Croctober’ With a Classic Clog in the Stars

Crocs is going into outer space — literally — to celebrate “Croctober.”

The annual holiday — created by Crocs fans to commemorate their love for the FNAA-winning brand and its comfort-focused footwear — is bringing Crocs a permanent fixture in the skies, thanks to its new “Crocstellation.” As its name suggests, the project has resulted in Crocs creating a permanent star constellation shaped like its signature Classic clog.

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year — Croctober — a time to celebrate the most imaginative fans in the world and this year is no exception,” said Crocs’ CMO Heidi Cooley in a brand statement. “Croc Day was born by our fans so we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate them than by bringing their ideas to life not just for one day, but all month long. At Crocs, we stan our fans!”

Crocs‘ “Crocstellation” can be viewed on its website on Oct. 25, just two days after “Croc Day” on Oct. 23 — the original holiday that fans created online, prior to “Croctober.”

The brand is also celebrating “Croctober” with the viral release of its new Crocs Classic Cowboy boots. This $120 style features a black Classic Clog base with embroidered shafts, with added Western flair from themed Jibbitz charms and removable spurs.

Crocs’ “Croctober” launches are the brand’s latest projects of 2023, following a lengthy string of brand collaborations. Throughout the year, the footwear label has dropped a wide array of co-branded collections and shoe releases with celebrities, fashion and pop culture brands, including Levi’s, “Demon Slayer” and Aetna, among others.
