Kate Spade New York is entering fall with a twist — literally, thanks to its newest flats.
The womenswear brand has dropped its latest shoe lineup for fall 2023, which includes the $228 Make It A Double flats. This pointed style features a classic flat base, complete with smooth, triangular black suede uppers and rounded counters. However, the pair gains a novelty spin from its detailed toe accents, which are shaped like glitzy martinis.
The aforementioned toe panels feature embroidered green olives with red crystal centers, speared by strips of knotted red leather mimicking toothpicks. To complete the cocktail, metallic silver leather creates a “gin” base — which is held in a glass made from shiny baguette crystals, finishing the shoes with a glamorous twist.

For added versatility, the chic flats include leather soles printed with the New York-based brand’s signature logo. The style is the latest release by Tom Mora and Jennifer Lyu, who were named the label’s new head designers in Sept. 2022; the pair recently showed their spring 2024 collection in a café-themed presentation during New York Fashion Week, as well, with a guest list including Aoki Lee Simmons, Carla Rockmore and Christina Ricci.
Kate Spade New York’s fall 2023 collection features an array of footwear imbued with the brand’s signature whimsy. Outside of its themed flats, the label has also released an array of heeled sandals, booties, loafers and pointed-toe pumps for the new season, complemented by playful accents including disco balls, allover crystals, pearls and sculptural heels.
