Loewe is giving its quirky pumps a feminine flair for fall 2023.
This season, creative director Jonathan Anderson’s “Toy” pumps — a classic close-toed pump with smooth leather uppers and glossy acrylic heels — were given a makeover in pale beige crushed velvet. The $1,200 style featured closed counters and pointed toes, which were topped with comically oversized bows in the same velvet material.
The whimsical pair was also joined in the collection by its darker cousin: a $1,250 pump, whose velvet uppers were swapped for black leather. The second style’s acrylic heels were also reverted to a slick black tone for a monochrome finish.

In addition to its bow-topped pumps, Loewe’s fall collection also featured the same supersized accents atop a D’Orsay flat. Similarly to the heels, one $1,150 version was made with smooth black leather, while the same style was crafted in the aforementioned velvet with a $990 price tag.
In other brand news, Loewe kicked off the autumn by announcing its new “Botanical Rainbow” fragrance collection — notably featuring a star-studded campaign with Greta Lee, Úrsula Corberó and Stéphane Bak. The label’s recent beauty launch, as well as the release of the brand’s new shoes, precede its spring 2024 collection reveal at Paris Fashion Week.
Loewe’s additional shoe assortment for fall 2023 features a range of sleekly playful shoes, including slouchy leather boots, fluffy shearling post sandals and puffed leather ballet flats, among others. You can discover the full variety online now on the Spanish brand’s website.
