Sleeper is growing its footwear rotation this season with a new shoe style.
As seen on the label’s website, its latest fall 2023 offerings highlight the Mittens Winter slippers — a $350 style crafted from smooth leather, complete with soft shearling lining for a cozy twist. The minimalist shoe is finished with practical, flat soles for easy wear, as well.
The Mittens emphasize day-to-night dressing, which can be seen through their versatile colorways: matte beige or black, creating a simple outfit base for both outdoor and indoor wear during the cooler months. Both iterations can now be found on Sleeper’s website.
Aside from the Mittens, Sleeper’s current shoe assortment also includes new colorways of its popular shearling-covered Lulu slippers, which are now available in tonal light green and vibrant hot pink hues. The slipper styles are also shown online alongside its staple slip-on kitten heeled sandals, which are trimmed with frothy feathers for a dramatic at-home statement.

Sleeper’s new slippers, aside from their comfort factor, also lean into the rising popularity of flats in 2023. The style has expanded its literal and cultural footprint throughout the year, with numerous brands releasing their own iterations of ballet, Mary Jane and slip-on styles in a wide range of materials and colors.
As previously reported in Footwear News, flat shoes will still be a top footwear trend for the Spring 2024 season, as brands including Marc Fisher and Dolce Vita spotlit new styles at Coterie and Magic New York this September. New York, London and Milan Fashion Weeks have also seen the shoe populate runways for a range of labels, including Altuzarra, Tibi, The Attico, Fendi and more.
