Luxury-comfort footwear collection Taryn Rose is expanding its offering for fall ’15 with a companion legwear line. Authentic Brands LLC, New York, parent of Taryn Rose, has licensed the name to Best Legwear Group.
The collection, which includes a range of legwear including foot liners, tights and trouser socks, incorporates the shoe brand’s comfort technology, such as cushioned soles and antimicrobial fabrics, to keep feet fresh. Tights and trouser socks are made of spandex microfiber combined with moisturizing properties that help soften the feet.
The legwear offering is slated to hit stores in September and will mirror the distribution of the shoe line. Retail prices range from $12 to $20 for trouser socks to $20 to $25 for tights.
Brand founder Taryn Rose launched the collection in 1998. An orthopedic surgeon, Rose tapped her medical expertise to create a luxury footwear collection that married fashion with function, incorporating arch supports and surrounding the foot with cushioning.

This spring, the footwear collection, licensed to Will-Rich Shoe Co., will be expanded to include a new series of contemporary looks under the Blossom name. Blossom targets a younger customer base of women in their 20s and 30s.
