Tkees has a new limited-edition line called the Splatter Paint Collection. The sandals feature exactly that — paint splatters that look like works of art.
For brand founder and designer Carly Burnett, the project was a childhood dream come true.
“When I was younger and attending art school, I loved creating pieces by taking cans of paint and pouring them down a canvas. I loved how every painting came out differently, and even when I used the same colours, the outcome would always be unlike any other,” said Burnett. “It fascinated me the way some colours blended while others remained untouched.”
The Brazil-made styles come in three colorways: Sunkissed, Cocobutter and Sable, and retail for $85 at Tkees.com.
According to Burnett, producing an art-inspired collection was an easy next step.

“I love playing with color, but my personal style has always revolved around wearing neutral classics and nude shades,” said Burnett. “So for me, combining the two was a natural jump, and the outcome was a collection of art.”
Megan Fox, Jessica Alba, Lea Michele, Emily Blunt and Minky Kelly have all been spotted in the label’s shoes. And recent sightings include Beyoncé and Gigi Hadid.
