The sneaker resale market has hit an all-time high (in fact, it’s estimated to be a growing $2 billion industry) — with designer brands riding the wave of success and a handful of them coming out on top.
According to data provided to FN by luxury consignment store The Real Real, Yeezy sneakers had the highest resale value on the site. Demand for the Kanye West-headed label increased by a whopping 580% year-over-year (perhaps unsurprisingly, given its first-ever drop sold out in 10 minutes and subsequent releases followed suit). Nike kicks earned a close second spot, followed by styles from Balenciaga, Gucci and Louis Vuitton increasing more than 100% year over year.
Breaking it down into shoes specifically, Yeezy’s 500 Desert Rat Blush and Nike’s Off-White collabs, including the Air Presto and Jordan 1 Retro High Chicago, were top sellers. Dad sneakers reigned supreme as Balenciaga’s Triple S and Louis Vuitton Archlight sneakers proved hotter than ever, while Gucci’s enduringly popular Ace sneaker also made the list.

Due to scarcity drops often associated with these high end labels, popular styles from the brand can often be flipped for more than double the original selling price. For all your reselling needs, read on for the full list of styles with the highest resale value on TheRealReal.com:
