The adidas x Dragon Ball Z collection was revealed en masse this week. Early product images of each shoe flooded the internet, giving us our best look yet at not one, but two pairs designated for Shenron the dragon.
The newly revealed “Shenron” adidas EQT Mid is one of the most colorful pairs from the collection. The Primeknit upper begins in a vibrant green tone, with darker green hues creating horizontal stripes across the toe box and main body. The isolated heel section of the knit will come in a golden yellow tone, with red symbols and lines embroidered in to add support and detailing. The lace loops and medial shank are made from a snakeskin leather to imitate the scaled of the great dragon, while the silhouette is rounded out with a translucent green outsole.
As the final piece in the Dragon Ball Z x adidas collection, the Shenron EQT holds a special place in the series. To help round out the numbers of pairs that will hit the market, adidas and DBZ dreamt up another colorway of this pair, paying homage to Super Shenron, a character that has only appeared in the manga. This version of the EQT will instead come decked out in black and gold hues.

The final installment in the Dragon Ball Z x adidas collection has been announced for release on December 22nd, 2018. These are likely to be the most limited pairs yet, and surprisingly, some of the least expensive at $130.
