Another archival adidas silhouette is back in full force. After returning this Summer as a part of the Torsion Bar’s celebration, the adidas LXCON OG is launching again in several colorways, including the bright Hi-Res Aqua look coming in October.

The adidas LXCON first entered the sneaker lexicon of many in the community earlier this year, when the Three Stripes launched a rehauled version of the classic silhouette. Obviously, the shoe has been around for much longer, dating back all the way to 1994. The shoe was originally built as a lightweight runner, constructed from a layered mesh and featherweight leathers combined with an adiPrene sole for a smooth ride. The look of the LXCON 94 was aggressive, too, featuring thick Predator-inspired forward leaning stripes and lines built for speed. Now, the original LXCON from 1994 is back following the success of the modernized 2019 update. This week, a new color scheme for the LXCON 94 surfaced on the Three Stripes release calendar, which adds eye-catching Aqua coloring to the silhouette’s base layers, as well as maroon and safety orange accents along the rear.
