adidas Celebrates East-Asian Cities With the Ultraboost 20 “City” Pack

The adidas Ultraboost 20 is officially here, and the consensus seems to be that it is a hit. This week, the Three Stripes unveiled an expansive new selection of colorways, with each taking inspiration from a different East Asian major city in the latest City Pack.

The adidas Ultraboost 20 builds on top of everything last year’s 2019 rebuild excelled at. The new extra-compact Boost tooling provides an impressive ride, and the 360 Primeknit upper improves on both the flexbility and stability of the previous generation. However, with the new and improved model, adidas seems to be going out of there way to produce a number of interesting colorways off the bat. Take this week’s new “City Pack”, for example. Released yesterday, the drop includes a total of 8 colorways for the innovative running shoe, with each one taking on the colors of a different East Asian city. There’s Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, and more, each matching the cities’ national flag.
