Aimé Leon Dore keeps surprising us with fresh New Balance collaborations. This week, they’ve opened up raffles for their take on the Rainier Low boot, available in yellow, grey, or brown suede colorways.
Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance always seem to have a new sneaker release cooking. Just last week, ALD quietly released their take on the 996 runner from the Made in USA program, as a part of their current seasonal collection. Now, they’ve opened up raffles for a three-pack of colors of the Rainier Low boot, a follow-up to their original release last holiday season that revived the Rainier’s high-top version. For this drop, ALD has crafted three styles of the boot, each constructed from tonal shaggy suede. Pairs come in your choice of dark yellow, medium brown, or a very light grey shade, and all follow the same color blocking. Tongues and soles come in black, but laces bring a pop of color to each style, adding navy blue to the yellow look, vibrant purple for brown, and bright orange for the grey style. The midsoles of each pair also feature a colorful accent matching the laces.
