The Air Jordan 1 has been the center of attention from the brand for the past few years, and that is not expected to change next year. This week, we have our first look at the “Metallic Silver” Jordan 1, rumored to release in January 2020.
Air Jordan 1 colorways are seemingly growing more and more consistent with each month, as new color schemes are releasing every few weeks. It’s something that the sneaker community has begged for over the past few decades, a steady stream of high-quality, original and new Jordan 1 releases. Well, we’re in the thick of it, and there appears to be no end in sight, not that we’re complaining. This week, we have our first look at a sample of the “Metallic Silver” color scheme that first surfaced online a few weeks ago. While the look is drastically different from the mock-up, its still quite enticing. Featuring an all-black upper accented by red laces and Jordan Wings logos, the shoe shows no sign of metallic silver color, though the seemingly woven quarter panels could contain a few 3M threads mixed in. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until 2020 to find out.
AIR JORDAN 1 RETRO HIGH OG “METALLIC SILVER” RELEASE INFORMATION
The first Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG release for 2020 is scheduled to go down on January 11th, though as per usual, this date is subject to change as we’re still several months out. The new metallic colorway is currently priced at $160, but as recent rumors have pointed out, this is also subject to change. UPDATE (1/13/20): The first Air Jordan 1 High OG colorway of 2020 is officially scheduled to release next weekend, on January 18th, 2020. Titled “Black Satin”, this smooth new colorway will be avialable from both Nike and select retailers for the new standard price tag of $170.
