Jordan Brand has a new iteration of their Air Jordan 4 making its debut this year. Subtitled the RM, the new silhouette retains the look of the classic basketball shoe, with a low-cut ankle and revised paneling. This week, a “Legend Light Brown” style has joined their slate of releases, expected to arrive this Summer.
The Air Jordan 4 is among the handful of mainline Jordan Brand silhouettes that sneakerheads herald as one of the all-time greats. The model has seen consistent releases since its introduction in 1989, often reissuing iconic colorways and as a part of some fan-favorite collaborations in more recent years, with Travis Scott and Union. This year, JB is set to debut a brand new style of the AJ4, removing its high-top ankle for a new low-top RM version. The silhouette remixes some of the shoe’s paneling, adding canvas layers to the midfoot and a rubberized plastic cage on either side.
The RM has already been seen in a small assortment of colors, first in Nigel Sylvester’s “Pro Green” pair, followed by three in-line colors in oxidized green and two different black & white styles. Now, a “Legend Brown” pair has joined the Summer release schedule, casting the new Jordan 4 in a simple tonal color scheme. The shoe is covered toe to heel in the off-white shade, covering its leather and suede toes as well as the canvas and TPU rear sections.

Jordan Brand’s launch of the new Air Jordan 4 RM does not have a set release date yet, but the modified classic is set to make its debut sometime in Summer 2024. Launching in a handful of colors, the “Legend Light Brown” pair seen here will be available from Nike’s SNKRS platform as well as select retailers for an expected $150.
