Last week, Asics took to Paris to show off a wealth of upcoming collaborations as well as some of their in-line releases of popular silhouettes. Among the collection was a fresh take on the GT-2160, named after the event’s host city, and sporting a soft cream white colorway with vibrant accents. Now, that pair has landed stateside, and is available from the brand’s website.

The GT-2160 has taken over Asics’ SportStyle offerings, dominating the brand’s release calendar since its return to shelves last year. The updated version of the 2011 runner first released last year, and has been featured in a number of high-profile collaborations as well as dropping seasonal colorways each month. Last week, the Japanese running brand held a preview event in Paris during the city’s Fashion Week, showing off some more upcoming collabs as well as a handful of new in-line styles, including the “Paris” GT-2160. The new look is available now, and comes dressed in a soft cream white shade for most of the upper. The heel counters come in a neon green shade, and fade to orange as a single line takes them from the rear of the shoe, down to the midsole, and back up to cover the toe caps. Finally, a metallic silver finish for the midfoot panels completes the look.
