BAPE has had a quiet great start of their season, and now they look to further their 20th Anniversary celebration of their beloved BAPESTA sneaker with a return of OG colors as well as an introduction to new themes.
20 years is a long time for a clothing piece to still be relevant but somehow, someway the BAPESTA may be even more popular today then it was a couple of years back. Thanks to the help of Kanye and 2000’s rappers, the BAPESTA has a nostalgic feeling about them, that draw many too them. Ao for many, celebrating the shoe is an easy thing to do.
The next drop, A Bathing Ape will look to the past for inspiration as they will be releasing three pairs of the BAPESTA Mid in brown/pink/tan, grey/green/orange, and red/yellow/blue. Each arrives with a shiny and colorful patent leather upper and a white midsole.
Along with the blast from the past, BAPE will also be releasing new trendy low variants. Two edition arrive in either black or white while featuring “A Bathing Ape” lettering across the side paneling. Both of those feature a 3M BAPESTA branding, a nice new tweak of a design. Two other low’s join the fun taking on exotic snakeskin of black and white and all black.

All 7 pairs are set to release this upcoming Saturday on March 14th on BAPE’s web-store at 11 AM EST and of course in-store.
