Bodega and Saucony are back. With other 40 collaborations together under their belts, the two East Coast brands are teaming up once again on the GRID Azura 2000, this time delivering the shoe in a colorful “Ever Ready” iteration.

The Saucony GRID Azura 2000 is not exactly a mainstay in the brand’s current arsenal; in fact, it only joined the brand’s current rotation last year, when it first debuted in a collaborative project with Boston’s Bodega. Originally designed in 1999, the Azura 2K was never actually released, remaining a mysterious object in the vault for almost 20 years, until the team at Bodega unearthed it last year. Constructed from lightweight mesh and jagged suede overlays, the GRID Azura 2000 returns this month in its first special-edition colorway. Crafted by Bodega, the “Ever Ready” color scheme is their vision of the future, as seen through the lens of the past. The eye-catching new colorscheme mixes a wide range of vibrant ’90s-inspired tones, including purple and faded lime green, as well as flashes of red, brown, and blue. The main overlays are constructed from a plain grey suede, while three sets of laces let you customize the look to your liking.
