This week, New Balance is launching a brand new partnership with CAYL, an upcoming Korean outdoor brand inspired by a love of climbing, trails, and the outdoors. The 610T is part of their initial release, dressed in ‘Covert Green’.
This year, New Balance revived their 610 model, a durable trail running silhouette that originally comes from the early 2000s. Over the past few months, they’ve released a number of in-line styles, as well as some high-profile collaborations with JoeFreshGoods, Aminé, and Bodega. Now, a new collaborator is taking their shot at the silhouette, Korea’s CAYL. Shortened from ‘Climb As You Love’, the up and coming outdoor brand celebrates their love of climbing, trail running, and hiking through durable and stylish outdoor gear. For their debut project with New Balance, they’ve given the 610T a ‘Covert Green’ makeover, which features a printed synthetic base layer and shaggy suede overlays in matching shades of olive. Hints of light grey mesh make up the toes, tongues, and collars, while black accents and midsoles complete the look.

The debut collaboration between Korea’s CAYL and New Balance has been scheduled to release this week, on October 13th, 2023. Featuring the 610T trail runner in a ‘Covert Green’ color scheme, pairs will be available directly from the Boston brand’s website, for $160.
