COMME des GARÇONS work with Nike over the past several years has been a staple of the sneaker industry, with new releases seemingly arriving in stores on a regular basis. The shoes come from every corner of Nike’s archives, with running sneakers and classic lifestyle Nikes making up the bulk of the projects. This week, CDG’s BLACK sublabel teased an early look at their next project with the Swoosh, this time reworking a previously released CDG x Nike Waffle Racer. Sporting an all-black color scheme, this new pair swaps materials for something more premium, as well as adding a Swoosh with unfinished edges to the lateral sides.

The next release from COMME des GARÇON BLACK and Nike has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to surface at stockists like Dover Street Market sometime in February. The retail price will rise above the usual to roughly $230, and release in limited numbers.
