Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game debuted last year, bringing an impressive story to life through a new take on the classic Guardians team. Now, adidas is turning the members into shoes, available now to Creators’ Club members.
Alright guys, huddle up, it’s time to talk about the Guardians of the Galaxy. The once-offbeat Marvel team of cosmic-level heroes blew up with the release of 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, bringing the typically peripheral characters into the centerfold of the MCU. Since then, the Guardians’ stock has only grown, with the release of the second film, and, last year, a Square Enix-led, story-based, third-person-shooter video game of the same name. The second of SE’s blockbuster Marvel games, Guardians is a rarity in that it focuses purely on a narrative-driven experience, letting you control the team through the lens of a new take on Peter Quill, or Star Lord. Now, the game is getting its own spin-off, in the form of three adidas sneakers based on Star Lord, Drax the Destroyer, and Rocket Raccoon’s new looks from the title. Star Lord, as a child of Earth in the 80s, naturally comes in the form of a white and blue Forum ’84 High, while Drax’s Forum Mid arrives in a menacing black and burgundy color scheme. Finally, Rocket’s ZX 2K boost mimics his in-game outfit through a black, red, and yellow color scheme with plenty of little techy gadgets added.

The upcoming collaboration between adidas and the Eidos-Montréal-developed Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game that released in the Summer of 2021, is scheduled to release later this week. However, all three pairs shown here are currently available exclusively to Gamechanger and Icon-level members of the Three Stripes’ Creators’ Club.
