The three-way collaboration between Japan’s N.HOOLYWOOD, Taiwan’s INVINCIBLE, and New Balance returns in 2024, this time teaming up for a greyscale pair of the upcoming 1906U silhouette.
Back in 2020, when New Balance initially revived the 2002R, they teamed up several of their collaborators for the silhouette’s debut releases. Among the projects was a collaboration between Japanese brand N.HOOLYWOOD and Taiwanese retailer INVINCIBLE. Since then, the two have teamed up for several more New Balance projects, including helping to launch the 1906R last year. This week, we got an early look at their next release, which comes in the form of NB’s upcoming 1906U, a variant of the model with a new mix of textiles for the upper. This is only the second pair of the new model we’ve seen, the first of which popped up late last month. The colorway from INVINCIBLE and N.HOOLYWOOD covers the silhouette in shades of grey, constructing the model from a suede and mesh base with shaggy suede and synthetic leather overlays.
INVINCIBLE X N.HOOLYWOOD X NEW BALANCE 1906U RELEASE INFORMATION
The next release from the trifecta of INVINCIBLE, N.HOOLYWOOD, and New Balance has been scheduled to release next month, on July 13th, 2024. Casting the upcoming 1906U in shades of grey across a variety of materials, pairs will likely release from both partners with a price tag around $170.
