The New Balance 2002R continues to be a point of pride for the Boston brand, as excellent new colors continue to surface on shelves. This week, we have an early look at a JD Sports’ exclusive “Noir” look, coming soon.
New Balance is at the top of their game right now, continually exciting sneakerheads around the world with exciting new silhouettes, collaborations, hell, even their in-line releases draw some major hype. The latest project to surface shows off one of the brand’s most popular sneakers, the 2002R, in a new colorway exclusive to renowned retailer JD Sports. While neither party have officially spoken about the shoe, the dark “Noir” like color palette is enough to draw our attention. Beginning with a dark grey mesh base layer, this pair adds midlayers in more grey tones, as well as overlays in dark black suede. The heels and toes both feature reflective 3M elements, while bright white New Balance ‘N’ logos complete the look.

The next release from JD Sports and New Balance, featuring a “Noir” colorway of the 2002R has not yet been announced for release, though we are expecting them to launch sometime in the Spring of 2022. Dressed in shades of black and grey with striking New Balance branding, pairs will likely come with a price tag of $150 and release exclusively through JD Sports’ website.
