Jordan Brand is ready to introduce a new lifestyle model to their lineup this season, which pulls heavily from the 1990 Air Jordan 5. Dubbed the Stadium 90, the silhouette emerged in official images this week.
Jordan Brand has borrowed heavily from their original AJ sneakers for recent releases, like the 37th model that is inspired directly by the AJ7. Now, the brand is gearing up to introduce a new lifestyle sneaker inspired by 1990’s Air Jordan 5. Dubbed the Stadium 90, a nod to the AJ5’s release year, the new silhouette is jam-packed with modern-day technology dressed in a retro-inspired package. The silhouette features a white leather base for the toes, with ribbed textures hidden along the midfoot underlays. Cream white suedes make up the mudguards and eye stays, and feature the AJ5’s signature teeth along the outer edge. More inspiration from the 5 includes the padded collars, while a new midsole unit utilizes both Air bags and Formula23 cushioning underneath.

Jordan Brand’s new Stadium 90 silhouette has not been given an official release date yet, though they are expected to launch sometime in Spring 2023. Borrowing heavily from the Air Jordan 5, the new mid-cut sneaker will likely drop via the SNKRS platform as well as select retailers, with pricing yet to be revealed.
