Minted NY, a small apparel brand in NYC that releases everything from cut & sew outwear to running gear, has announced their debut sneaker collaboration with Saucony, the ProGrid Triumph 4, coming this week.
Saucony has been on the rise in recent years, as their retro running footwear has come back into fashion, along with aid from popular collaborations like Jae Tips‘ releases late in 2023. This week, the brand has officially unveiled their debut project with Minted NY, a small apparel brand based in NYC. The collaboration has reportedly been in the works for over two years, with Minted originally teasing their take on the ProGrid Triumph 4 a year ago this week. The featured silhouette was originally released in 2007 as a lightweight performance running shoe, tuned to urban settings. For their take on the shoe, Minted has dressed the model in a simple neutral color palette of white, grey, and metallic silver, adding hints of light brown and lush forest green for a splash of color. Their branding is found on the tongues and co-branded insoles, and each pair comes with a special box printed with a hand drawn scene of New York City.

The debut sneaker collaboration from Minted NY, featuring the Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4, has been scheduled to debut this week, on May 11th, 2024, from the brand’s NYC pop-up event. This will be followed by an online release via the Minted website on May 15th, and a rumored global release from Saucony on the 31st. Pairs will be available for $160.
