Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. will be teaming up with adidas on their classic adidas Stan Smith with a Mike & Sully offering that arrives as a bright faux fur rendition.
Surfacing in perfect timing, the special rendition may be dropping as a nod to the upcoming Disney + series, Monsters At Work which is an ongoing series set to debut July 7th that gives fans an inside look at the daily lives of their favorite monsters. The offering takes the classic Stan Smith and swaps out the usual leather design with a furry makeover mimicking Sully’s fur coat of blue and purple polka dots. Mike Wazowski is then felt on the green heel overlays while each character is added to their very own tongue labels along with a picture of both on the designated insoles in case you needed more confirmation of the collaboration. Subtly finishing the design is a sail rubber midsole and outsole.
