New Balance’s Summer lineup of sneakers is underway, with plenty more new styles in the pipeline for the next few months. This week, another fresh take on the 1906R has emerged, giving the silhouette a dark shade of Teal blue for an accent, over a grey and metallic silver base.
The 2009 2906 from New Balance has been a strong addition to their catalog over the last few years, after its revival in 2022. The retro runner-turned-lifestyle silhouette has released in dozens of colorways and collaborations over the last few years, offering comfort and and style in nearly every color combination you could want. This Summer, a wave of new color schemes are set to launch in batches, with the latest pairs surfacing this week, and coming soon. One style pits the shoe in a “Teal” blue accent, which is layered on top of a mixed light grey and metallic silver base palette.

New Balance’s latest new color scheme for the 1906R runner has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to arrive sometime later in Sumer 2024. Adding teal blue accents to a metallic silver and grey base, pairs will be available from both the brand’s website and select retailers for $155.
