The New Balance 2002R returns in new colors for Summer 2024 this week, continues the silhouette’s years-long domination of the brand’s release catalog. The latest pair of the retro runner has arrived in a “Copper” orange color scheme, available now.

Fresh colorways of the 2002R have been launching non-stop for the last few years. The model, originally released in 2010, came back into the fold several years ago, repurposed as a more casual lifestyle shoe, and helped usher in the current trend of retro running models. Since then, we’ve seen new releases and collaborations featuring the silhouette on a seasonal basis, with New Balance keeping the shoe in their arsenal for each successive season. This week, the brand released a new pair of the 2002, dressing the shoe in a simple “Copper” orange look. The shoe’s outer suede layers come in the creamsicle-like shade, with “Infield Clay” orange making up contrast in the simple monotone palette. Sea Salt white accents round out the new look.

In other New Balance releases, the “Hi-Lite” 990v4 from the Made in USA line drops in June.
