New Balance 2002R Tobacco

New Balance continues to impress us with fresh colorways of their 2002R, several years after reviving the older running shoe. This week, the model emerged in a Fall-ready ‘Tobacco’ color scheme, coming soon.

New Balance first debuted their 2002R in 2010, as a top-of-the-line running sneaker. The silhouette quickly went dormant, fading into the brand’s archives until its revival in 2021, which took a strong hold on the sneaker world. Over the last two years, the Boston brand has built a massive range of color schemes for the silhouette, which continues this Fall with a new ‘Tobacco’ look. The fresh pair features a uniform rich brown shade across its suede base and outer layers, with a slightly lighter mesh panel around the collar. The midsole and other accents like the inner lining and ‘N’ logos come in black to complete the look.
