Valentine’s Day is coming up soon, and sneaker brands are slowly rolling out their themed releases as the holiday fast approaches. Earlier this week, New Balance got ahead of the game with the release of the “Pink Glo” 57/40, available now.
New Balance’s 57/40 silhouette debuted last month, bringing the classic 574 into the modern day with an updated design, materials, and internal technologies. Since then, the new silhouette has been teased in an upcoming collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS among other new colorways for 2021, and now, the Boston brand has released a bright new color scheme just in time for Valentine’s Day. Arriving in a tonal color scheme mixing shades of Pink Glo with Neo Flame, the Valentine’s-ready release carries a single tone across the mesh and suede upper, while several different tones makeup the varying pieces of the midsole section.

New Balance’s fresh Valentine’s Day-themed take on the new 57/40 silhouette released earlier this week and is currently available directly from the brand’s website in a selection of sizes. The “Pink Glo” colorway comes with a price tag of $120 and will continue to arrive at global retailers in the coming weeks.
