New Balance Adds a Smooth ‘Brown’ Colorway to Their 580 Lineup

New Balance is preparing to reintroduce the 580 into their lineup of in-line sneakers for 2023, with a wave of colorways surfacing this week. Today, we are looking at a new ‘Brown’ color scheme, coming soon.

New Balance has recently unveiled a number of collaborations featuring their 1996 580 running shoe. From Palace’s release earlier this month to the upcoming Stray Rats project, it appears the Boston brand is gearing up for a full retro run of the silhouette, as evidenced by this week’s emergence of new in-line color schemes. Today, we have an early look at a new ‘Brown’ color scheme of the retro runner. This pair begins with a yellow mesh base layer for comfort and breathability, adding beautiful brown suede to the outer layers of the silhouette. The signature ‘N’ logos come in reflective 3M, with another touch of the material at the corners of the toe box and heel counters, while red rubber patches on the tongues complete the look.
