New Balance’s Retro 827 Returns in New Colorways for the End of Summer

The New Balance 827 returns this month, adding more in-line colorways to the brand’s lineup as we inch closer to the end of Summer. Available now, the 827 comes in two new multicolor and one tonal option.

The New Balance 827, like most of the Boston-based brand’s pre-2000s running shoes, was originally built as a lightweight, long-distance runner. Constructed from a single-piece, airy mesh upper and reinforced by an eclectic system of leather and nylon webbing overlays, the 827 was a success, thanks to the form-fitting comfort and aggressive style it presented over other New Balance sneakers. Now, with the revival of the 827 in full swing, New Balance has readied a new set of colorways to close out the Summer. This time around the colorways are a little brighter, with three new looks all featuring a plain white base layer. The first two add plenty of color to the mix, with one sporting royal blue overlays, while another bears a striking resemblance to the Aimé Leon Dore pair with pink, blue, and yellow accents. Finally, a women’s exclusive tonal white pair adds some subtle rose pink accents to complete the new pack.
