The New Balance 990v5 is coming off of a massive debut year in 2019. Marked by collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore, Beams, size? YCMC, and more, the fifth iteration in the beloved line of 990s is a smash hit, and rightfully so. With the initial hype of the release behind it, the 990v5 is still an incredible piece of footwear, and will likely be a staple of the brand’s lineup for the foreseeable future. To help it adjust into this position, New Balance has been releasing the 990v5 in a variety of new color schemes, like this week’s pink-tinted “Sunrise” pair that quietly hit New Balance shelves earlier this week. This new color scheme presents the retro-styled runner almost entirely in the namesake sunrise pink color, broken up only by light grey mid-layers and a two-tone midsole.

New Balance’s latest colorway of their Made in the USA 990v5 launched quietly this week via the brand’s website and is available in a wide variety of sizes. The “Sunrise” pink color scheme will carry the 990v5’s usual $175 price tag, and will likely release from third party retailers soon.
