Last year, Nike previewed their first ever retro of the Air Exploraid, a late ’90s trail shoe from the ACG division. The model made its first release early this year, and has arrived in a handful of colors in the months since. Now, ACG is starting to unveil their next round of colors for the hiking shoe, including a “Jade Horizon” style coming later this year.
The ACG team at Nike has done a remarkable job of issuing retro versions of their classic outdoor sneakers. The sublabel has been able to pinpoint the shoes that people are looking to see back on shelves, while also introducing new models with the latest technology Nike has to offer. Their most recent endeavor is the Air Exploraid, a trail shoe originally launched in 1999 that quickly faded into the brand’s archives before its return was announced during last year’s SNKRS Showcase event. The ACG crew has released a small assortment of colors for the unique model since then, and has even more on the way for the rest of 2024.
This week, we got an early look at one of the new Fall colors for the Exploraid. This new look pits the shoe in a fairly neutral palette, which begins with a Light Silver shade of white for the shoe’s mesh and neoprene underlays. The leather and suede outer layers of the shoe come in the “Jade Horizon” muted green color, as well as the “Dark Stucco” tone Nike has been fond of for the last few months.

Nike ACG’s next colorways of the retro Air Exploraid have not been announced yet, and will likely release as a part of the sublabel’s Fall 2024 collection. Dressed in a muted “Jade Horizon” green shade with silver and stucco, pairs are expected to be released from both Nike and select retailers, with a price tag of $140.
