Nike ACG revived their Torre Mid boot last year, returning the outdoor ready boot to their catalog for 2024. This week, the waterproof style has surfaced in new Summer colorways, including a “Light Pumice” look with raisin purple and black accents, coming soon.
Nike ACG has revived a number of their retro hiking models in the last few years, rehashing some iconic archival silhouettes with plenty of new colors, and in some cases, retrofitting them with new materials and technologies. One of their latest is the Torre, a mid-’90s, lightweight, high-cut hiking shoe with a waterproof lining. The silhouette has seen a number of new releases in the months since 2023, and has now surfaced in even more new colorways for Summer 2024. Seen here in its “Light Pumice” iteration, the model begins with a dark raisin purple shade for its canvas base layer, adding the blueish-grey pumice shade for its suede overlays. The rest of the model is cast in black, including Swooshes, Nike and ACG branding, midsoles, and laces.

Nike ACG’s next colorways of the retro Torre Mid are set to arrive later in Summer 2024, though no date has been specified yet. Seen here in its “Light Pumice” color palette with black and dark raisin purple, the new style will be available from both SNKRS and select retailers, with a price tag of $150.
