Nike’s remastered Air Huarache is here to stay, with plenty of new colorways set to release all year long. Today, we have an early look at a new “Tortoiseshell” color scheme, coming soon.
Nike’s thirtieth-anniversary celebration for the Air Huarache appears to be stretching into 2022, as evidenced by a number of new colorways still on the horizon. Among these upcoming releases is another retro style from the Huarache’s Limited Edition series, which cast the vintage runner in a near-full-leather construction, as well as adding some interesting new colorways to the mix. This week, the Air Huarache LE has surfaced in a fresh “Tortoiseshell” look, which mixes in the classic sunglass frame pattern into the Huarache’s cage system in a semi-translucent material. This portion is layered on top of an ivory white base layer, while a bright orange heel counter completes the look.

Nike’s latest classic colorway from the Air Huarache lineup, the colorful “Tortoiseshell” look, has been announced for release later this month, on February 25th, 2022. The limited-edition color scheme will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $120.
