In celebration of the annual Holiday, Nike will be releasing the special Air Max 1 “Chinese New Year” early next year.
The New Year is right around the corner and we have already seen quite a few iterations arrive with a “Chinese Nee Year” makeover. Along the multiple silhouettes we have already seen, the Air Max 1 will join the fun with a colorful and meaningful upper.
This Air Max 1 comes equipped with multiple materials such as suede, leather and patent leather. With the numerous amounts of materials, the upper is filled with texturizing overlays that flood the silhouette. Red, black and yellow all share time across the upper while baby blue paints the sock liner. “耐克” is featured on the tongue meaning Nike in Chinese while a winged horse graphic graces the heels in symbolism to the mythical longma. A multi/colored outsole then completes the celebratory design.
