Nike’s Air Max 1 continues its roll into the new year, relaunching the classic Leather variation for the first official time since its debut in 1987. Check out the new “Martian Sunrise” colorway of the premium running shoe, coming soon.
After a year of surprise Air Max 1 releases in 2020, Nike is continuing its run of strong new colorways into 2021, though with some slight changes to the classic silhouette for this round. For the first time since its original release, the Air Max 1 Leather is finally making a return to retail shelves, giving a new generation a chance to grab a luxurious take on the essential Swoosh silhouette in a number of colorways. Among the collection is the “Martian Sunrise” color scheme seen here, which rehashes the orange Air Max 1 from 2020 with a premium upgrade. Sporting the same white and grey color blocking from the OG AM1, the Martian Sunrise look adds deep orange mudguards and Swooshes to deliver yet another classic Air Max release.

Nike’s latest colorway of the Air Max 1 Premium in “Martian Sunrise” orange, has been scheduled to drop next week, on January 14th, 2021. The premium version of the classic Air Max 1 will be available from both Nike and select retailers when it launches stateside, with an elevated retail price of $150.
