Nike’s Air Max 1 releases are starting to heat up, reviving classic colorways alongside brand new styles. This week, the Air Max 1 Master in ‘Magma Orange’ emerged, bringing back the fan-favorite release from 2016.

Nike’s anniversary celebration of the Air Max 1 is bringing back an important variation from 2016, the AM1 Master, which celebrated the history of the shoe through an amalgamation of the best collaborations. Featuring a segmented mudguard with different materials and colors, the sought after version has emerged in a new color scheme for 2022. The ‘Magma Orange’ look begins with a white mesh base layer, adding grey suede panels to the midfoot and heel sections. The Magma Orange tone is present on the Swooshes and wrap-around mudguard, covering the canvas and leather panels, the latter of which comes in both safari and reptile leather versions. Finally, an aged yellowed midsole with orange and burgundy outsoles complete the look.

Nike’s upcoming release of the AM 1 in the Master format has not been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime later this year. Featuring ‘Magma Orange’ panels in a number of different materials, pairs will likely be available in limited numbers from both Nike and select retailers.
