The Nike Air Max 720 will join the “Be True” collection this year that Nike is releasing to celebrate the LGBTQ community during Pride Month. This one is a little more special though, check out the Nike Air Max 720 “Be True”.
Every June sneaker brands paint their most popular models in rainbow themed colors to celebrate the LGBTQ community during the month known as “Pride Month”. It’s a month-long celebration all over the world that is resembled by bright rainbow aesthetics. Nike reached a bit deeper with this edition though as they honor the man that created the Rainbow Flag, Gilbert Baker.
The Nike Air Max 720 has been the go-to for the team over at Nike. It has quickly become one of their most popular silhouettes in its short-lived career. Now it joins the pack to be represented during Pride Month this June. The Uppers consists of a gradient rainbow design with red being featured on the toe all the way to purple on the heels. Black accents are added in for contrast that includes, plastic overlays, laces, branding, trimming and a pull tab that features “Be True” written in white. A clear Air Max unit makes up the sole and Gilbert Baker’s signature is written in perfectly.

Although we do not have an official release date you can expect them to release alongside Nike’s 2019 BETRUE collection for a retail price of $180 as they will become available at select retailers and Nike.com in June.
