Nike Air Max 95 Releasing in “Baltic Blue” This Summer

Nike’s Air Max 95 has been a staple of streetwear culture since its original introduction as a running shoe. This week, a new pair featuring the classic grey gradient color scheme has surfaced, this time with “Baltic Blue” accents.

The Air Max 95 is by no means Nike’s go-to Air Max silhouette, but the model has held a special place in the world of sneakers since its release in 1995. The model’s intricate, multi-layered construction has brought us some iconic color schemes over the past thirty years, and continues to pop up in new iterations regularly. This year, we are expecting collaborative releases from Corteiz and A Ma Maniere, though no official word of either project has been given yet. Until then, we have some simple pairs like this “Baltic Blue” to hold us over. This new look sports the shoe’s original grey gradient color scheme on the upper, mixing leather and suede panels that fade from light to dark, starting at the top half of the shoe. The bright blue shade has been used sparingly, mostly for the Nike branding and Air bubbles.
