Nike’s long-awaited return of the Air Max Sunder is almost upon us. With the release of the “Canyon Gold” color scheme coming up in July, the remaining two pairs have been scheduled to release in August. Along side the bright pink style is this vibrant “Electric Green” pair, coming soon.

Nike’s reveal of the Air Max Sunder retro came almost a year ago now, during the brand’s debut SNKRS Showcase livestream. The event showed off a wide range of retro models and new styles releasing for the next year, of which the Sunder is the last sneaker to release. After their second Showcase event last week gave us an early look at the model with Gore-Tex lining (coming in 2025), they’ve finally announced release dates for the “Highlighter” pack that we’ve been waiting for all year long.

The “Electric Green” pair of the Sunder completes the trio of bright retro color scheme Nike first showed off last year. The shoe’s neoprene shroud layer comes in the vibrant shade of highlighter green, adding a black mudguard with silver TPU pieces to match the rest of the collection. The shoe’s white midsole hides its matching green Air bubbles that complete the look.

Nike’s first release of their retro Air Max Sunder is set for July, though this bright green style is coming later this Summer, on August 8th, 2024. The “Electric Green” pair is one of the three initial colorways releasing over the next few months, and will be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers for $180.
