The Nike Air Vapormax has seen several iterations since its introduction in 2017, but the 2023 edition is one of the sleekest yet. This week, we got an early look at a “Vast Grey/Volt” pair coming in 2024.
Nike’s full-length Air midsoles, dubbed the Vapormax, first released in 2017, and have undergone numerous changes and updates in the years since. The Vapormax 2023 silhouette is their current form, mixing the ultralight, bouncy underfoot technology with a full Flyknit upper. While the Swoosh is likely working on their next iteration of the silhouette, the 2023 edition will continue to release in new styles next year, like this “Vast Grey/Volt” pair we got an early look at today. This look colors the knit upper’s top half in light grey, filling in the mudguard areas and collars with the brand’s signature Volt green tone. Laces and midsoles come in volt as well, while the printed Swooshes come in dark green for the lateral sides, and Hot Punch red for the medial sides, as well as the heel pull tabs.

Nike’s upcoming release of the Air Vapormax 2023 Flyknit in an Vast Grey and Volt Flyknit has not been announced for release, though they are expected to arrive sometime in Spring 2024. The bright new color scheme will be available from the brand’s SNKRS app and select retailers for $210.
