Nike’s classic Blazer Mid has been going strong since its return to prominence in 2019. With dozens of colorways and versions already available, the Nike team has turned to a new solution for fresh colorways: alternating Swoosh colors.
The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 has been everywhere since its debut in 2019. Rehashing the classic basketball shoe as a modern-day lifestyle model, the classic Blazer has been a massive success for the Swoosh in the time since. Above all, the basic white rendering with various-colored Swooshes are the most common pairs you see in passing, but Nike aims to switch that up with their new releases for 2022 featuring alternate colored Swooshes. Seen already in two colorways, these pairs feature different colored Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides. While both feature a solid white leather base with grey suede accents, one adds olive external Swooshes paired with black internal ones, while the other pair opts for the more classic red & blue combination.

Nike’s latest version of the fan-favorite Blazer Mid, which introduced alternate color Swooshes, has not yet been announced for release, though they are set to launch sometime in 2022. With two colorways already unveiled, there will likely be plenty more on the way, each one retaining the Blazer’s easy $100 price tag.
