Nike Mac Attack Oil Green

The Nike Mac Attack made a surprise return this year, debuting in its original color scheme before adding some new styles to the classic tennis ttrainer. This week, we have an early look at an ‘Oil Green’ pair, coming soon.

Nike’s Mac Attack is a blast from the past. Worn by John McEnroe in the ’80s, the iconic tennis sneaker never saw a retro release until 2023, remaining dormant in the brand’s archives for several decades. Now, the Attack is back, and pumping out new color schemes for both in-line releases, as well as special-edition pairs from Social Status and Travis Scott. This week, we are getting an early look at another standard-issue color scheme coming later this year, which adopts the currently popular ‘Oil Green’ shade of olive. The look begins with a sail white mesh base layer, adding Ironstone brown suede to the toebox, Swooshes, collars, and heels. The namesake green tone comes in suede as well, covering the forefoot, lacing, and heel overlays.

Nike’s latest colorway of the 1984 Mac Attack has not been officially announced for release yet, though some retailers like SSENSE have started releasing them. Dressed in ‘Oil Green’ with ironstone brown and white to complete its palette, pairs will be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers for $130.
