Nike’s 2019 On Air Collection Hits Shelves Next Week

Nike’s On Air collection has made a lot of noise in the past week alone. First, the project was delayed by several months. Then, they were releasing on Air Max Day. Another week, delayed again, and now? Nike is finally ready to drop them next month.

Welp, Nike’s plans have changed once more. After taking to their social media channels earlier this month to announce the delay of any specialty Air Max Day releases, new news has come from the Swoosh detailing release information for their upcoming fan-designed “On Air” competition winners. While Nike had previously stated that the six city-themed releases would be dispersed throughout the following weeks and months, their dedicated SNKRS platform now says otherwise. Instead, all six models will be released at once, midway through next month. This is likely due to unforeseen circumstances on Nike’s end of things, likely small delays in manufacturing or shipping mishaps that would indefinitely push back the release date. However, with an official announcement, the April release should be on time.

NIKE 2019 ON AIR COMPETITION WINNERS RELEASE DATE

The 2019 Nike “On Air” Collection is now slated to launch via the SNKRS platform on April 13th, 2019. All six winning shoes will be made available globally, contrary to previous rumors, with prices ranging from $150-$240.
