Nike SB’s Air Jordan 4 in “Varsity Red” Releases in February 2025

Nike SB is expanding their upcoming releases of the Air Jordan 4 for 2025, adding another colorway this week. Joining the navy blue pair releasing in February, a second style in “Varsity Red” is also expected to arrive early in the new year.

The first release of the Air Jordan 4 from the Nike SB team came last Spring, arriving just ahead of Summer in late May. The style was quickly heralded as one of the shoes of the year, and ended up near the top of most lists covering the hottest releases of 2023. The SB team made some modifications to the shoe’s padding and cushioning to make them more wearable for skaters, but they are mostly sported by avid fans of both the AJ4 and SB silhouettes. Then, this year, word that more colorways would be joining the original “Pine Green” color scheme surfaced, kicking off with a navy blue iteration. Now, a “Varsity Red” style has joined the February 2025 slate. So far, only mock-ups of the two new colors are available, but we hope to see them mimic the same white, and grey based color blocking of the original.

The latest pair of the Air Jordan 4 to join Nike SB’s growing lineup of colorways has not been announced for release, but the “Varsity Red” style is expected to release alongside the navy blue pair in February 2025. Following the same color blocking as its predecessors, pairs will likely be available through SNKRS, select Nike retailers, and SB skateshop accounts for $225.
